Weathervane Winery is located in Lexington. They offer award winning wines and a casual atmosphere. They have a great selection of wine accessories in their tasting room. After your tasting by their very personable you are welcome to experience their spacious areas outside to sip and relax. From the rocking chairs on the front porch to the private special event room Weathervane has you covered. They offer space for corporate events to private family celebrations. While we there, they were hosting a bridal lunch and still had space for everyone to enjoy the winery. We liked the 2019 Rooster Black and 2018 Ionosphere. Weathervane also has 2 cabins on the property within walking distance to the tasting room. I highly suggest staying there. This makes a great weekend of winery visiting. Lexington has a lot to offer with several smaller wineries that offer a big punch in wine, hospitality and venue.
