Treehouse Vineyards
Treehouse Vineyards is located in Monroe. Charles and I discovered Treehouse when our son was a freshman at Wingate University. Treehouse takes staying on property to a new level. They have actual treehouses you can stay in for the night or weekend. They also have a massive treehouse overlooking the main sitting area of the winery, great for a group up to 6 people. They are open 7 days a week. We have been to Treehouse several times, mostly recently for Mother’s Day. Tastings are by reservation only at this point. You can make a reservation by calling 704-283-4208. They offer lots of shade and space to spread out. Dogs are not permitted so leave them at home. Children are welcome with the understanding this is an adult venue to enjoy wine and relax. To enjoy their live music you can rent a firepit and/or table to ensure you have the very spot you want. I like Liquid Sunshine and Charles liked Bailey's Blend. If you want to make the treehouse rental even more special you can purchase bottles and gift baskets to be waiting for you when you arrive. Treehouse is a great venue where they accommodate weddings to intimate gatherings. The times we have visited we have taken our own picnic/take-out. There are many options within a few miles of the winery. Treehouse is unique in that they have a museum on the property.
The owners are not Jewish but have been friends of Israel for over 35 years. The museum has over 2,500 religious books and artifacts. It emphasizes the importance of Israel and the story of the Holocaust .As I always suggest, check out their website and email them if you have any questions.
