Check out any North Carolina wine blog and Raffaldini is in the top of everyone’s list. There is a lot of hype surrounding Raffaldini and they do not disappoint. The wine is made in the classic Italian style. Some of the varietals of grapes are only grown at Raffaldini. As with most wineries during this time they offer flights, glass and bottle service. You can choose from non-red, red and mixed flights. They are served in the most elegant glass stand. My favorite is the Liguria. Charles enjoys the Montepulciano Riserva. The grounds are beautiful and ample seating right next to the vines. The patio is covered and heated in the colder months. The day we went Southern on Wheels had food for purchased or you could bring your own picnic. Raffaldini is a great place for your event from a simple family gathering to a formal wedding. The backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains is just icing on the cake. A trip to Raffaldini lives up to its reputation.
