Noni Bacca Winery

Noni Bacca Winery, located in Wilmington, is family owned and operated. Ken and Toni began their wine making in Buffalo, NY before moving to North Carolina. Both come from a long line of old world traditions. Toni led us through our tasting. She was informative and entertaining. We learned a lot about their wines and wines in general. One word of caution, don’t be in a hurry when visiting Noni Bacca. The pours are generous. Micheal, their son, finished our tasting. It was fun to hear his story. I enjoyed their Chardonnay. It was light and not buttery. Charles enjoyed the Taxi Cab, a Cabernet Sauvignon. They also sell imported beer. They are open 7 days a week except major holidays. They offer cheese baskets perfect for 2-6 people. Several great restaurants located nearby to enjoy before a tasting. We stopped by Eternal Sunshine for brunch and then spent the afternoon at Noni Bacca.
