Enoree Winery is located in Newberry, South Carolina. The moment you walk in you are greeted by Emmie and Candance. The owner and all tasting room associates are retired school personnel. They are lively, charming and knowledgeable of their wines. Their variety of wines are on the sweet side, with names such as Maggie May, Black Spanish and Sweet Southern Sass. I enjoyed the Chardonnay and Charles liked the Pinotage. Tastings are done inside then moving to the covered porch to enjoy a glass or bottle. The winery was hosting a 5K race the next day and there was a lot of activity in preparation. The winery offers many social events starting in April. There is ample room to spread out and walk the grounds. There is a covered archway at the far end of the vines that is worth the walk. They do have strict Covid rules. Consult the website before visiting. Reservations are required for 7 or more people.
