CeNita Vineyard and Winery
While we were exploring the Georgia Highway one day we used the VIP tour company to visit 3 wineries. I highly suggest using a tour company especially if you have a group and so no one has to drive. One winery we visited with VIP was CeNita Winery. The weather was beautiful and we sat outside and did our tasting. All their wines are on the sweet side. The winery owners are Greg and Carol. They began growing grapes in 2008. The name CeNita is a combination of Greg’s parents' names Cecil and Juanita. After Cecil passed away Carol decided to build an event space where family and friends could marry and gather. The tasting room opened in 2015 serving all estate wines. The farmland is former dairy land. They offer various amounts of tastings. We chose 4 wines for $9. My favorite was the Rouge, an estate blush. Charles enjoyed the Dock’s Red, also an estate wine that boasts black fruit flavors. The tasting room is open 7 days a week. If sweet wine is your jam then CeNita will have a wine for you.
