These sliders are so easy to make and customize to your liking.

Philly sliders

Directions

  • Combine the salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic together in a small bowl for the seasoning.

  • Cut beef, mushrooms, onion and peppers into thin strips.

  • In a skillet, heat 1 tsp oil with 1 Tbsp butter. 

  • Add the beef, saute until almost fully cooked.  Season with half of the prepared seasoning. Remove from skillet and cover to keep warm.

  • Add remaining 1 tsp oil and 1 Tbsp butter. Add the peppers, mushrooms and onions. Cook over medium heat until vegetables are tender. Add the steak back into the skillet, season with remaining seasoning and toss to combine.

  • Cut the rolls in half removing the tops. Add the bottom of buns to a baking dish. Remove the tops of the buns. Spread mayo over bottom of buns.

  • Add the cooked beef and vegetables and spread evenly. Top with the cheese. Add bun tops. 

  • Combine melted butter, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder and mix. Brush the tops of rolls.

  • Cover dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes at 375°F, remove and bake another 5 minutes or until cheese completely melts.

  • To reheat any leftovers cover with a paper towel and use your microwave reheat or defrost setting.

  • Sliders

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls

  • 3/4 lb. beef, thinly sliced

  • 1/2 green pepper, sliced

  • 1/2 red pepper, sliced

  • 1/2 onion, sliced

  • 4 oz. mushrooms, sliced

  • 8 slices of provolone (I used sharp cheddar)

  • 3 Tbsp mayo (I used 1 Tbsp. mayo and 2 Tbsp. plain yogurt

  • 2 tsp olive oil

  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter

  • ¾ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper

  • ¾ tsp ground paprika

  • ¾ tsp garlic powder

  • Butter topping

  • 3 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning of your choice

  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
