Half Homemade Chili
15 minutes cook
simmer as long as you have until serving
As the days get cooler a bowl of chili can hit the spot. This half homemade recipe is easy for busy weeknights.
Brown meat in a pan and drain off any fat
Prepare chili mix according to the directions. Replace 1/2 to all of the water with Bloody Mary mix.
Add beans and tomatoes. Stir
If too thick add water or more bloody mary mix. If too thin use the thickening agent included in the mix.
Allow to simmer for as long as you have until serving.
2 lbs of ground meat (I use meatless crumbles)
Chili starter mix (I use Carroll Shelby's chili kit)
2 cans of beans of your choice
2 can of diced tomatoes of your choice
Bloody Mary mix (I use Lu Mill Vineyards mix)
