Frozen Mango Margarita

A classic with a fruit you might not expect

Frozen Mango Margarita


  • Mix salt and sugar in a shallow plate

  • Blend ice

  • Add tequila, triple sec, agave nectar and lime juice

  • Blend until smooth; if too thick add more agave nectar 

  • Wet glass with lime wedge and dip in salt/sugar mixture

  • Pour mixture into glass and garnish with lime wedge


  • 1 cup ice

  • 6 oz. mango, frozen

  • 1.5 oz. tequila

  • .5 oz.  triple sec

  • 2 Tbs. agave nectar

  • 1 lime, juice of half and 2 wedges

  • 2 Tbs. each salt and sugar
