Cinnamon Rolls

This semi copy cat recipe is a perfect addition to a brunch or a lazy weekend.

Cinnamon Rolls


  • Filling

  • Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl

  • Grease a 9*13 baking pan with butter or spray

  • Knead dough on a lightly floured surface.   Roll out into a rectangle about 16*20 with a rolling pin.

  • Spread the butter over the dough followed by the sugar and cinnamon mixture.

  • Roll the dough over the sugar mixture until you have a cylinder.  Pinch the edges  and cut into 1/2 inch slices

  • Place slices in the prepared pan and cover for 30 minutes.

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Bake for 30 minutes or until done.  Allow to cool completely.

  • Icing

  • Beat all the ingredients together and spread over cooled rolls.

  • 3 Tbs. cinnamon

  • 1/3 cup salted butter, softened

  • 3 Tbs. salted butter, softened

  • 3 Tbs. sour cream

  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

  • 1/4 cup cream cheese (room temperature)

  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
