15 minutes prep time and 8 hours (low) or 5 hours (high) in a crockpot
I changed this recipe to a crockpot version to make is super simple for a busy weekday night.
Place meat, mushrooms, onions and garlic in crockpot. Add broth, paprika and salt. Cover.
Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 5 hours.
Mix sour cream, flour, and mustard. Add to crockpot. Stir until blended. Cover and continue cooking for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile cook noodles according to package directions.
In a bowl ladle noodles and meat sauce.
Garnish with parsley.
2 lbs. boneless beef for stew, cut into bite size pieces
10 oz. mushrooms, halved
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. salt
1 cup sour cream ( I use half sour cream and half plain yogurt)
2 Tbs. flour
1 Tbs. dijon mustard
1 pkg. egg noodles, uncooked
2 Tbs. parsley
