Baked Spaghetti

Need to feed a crowd? In need of comfort food? This recipe does both. I have to admit I have had this for breakfast.

Baked Spaghetti


  • In a large pan brown the meat, onion and garlic.  Drain. 

  • Add pasta sauce, oregano, salt and pepper to meat mixture.

  • Simmer for 30 minutes.

  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions.

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Spray a 9*13 baking dish.

  • Place half 1/2 of pasta in baking dish. Pour 1/2 of sauce over pasta.  Spread 1/2 of cheeses.  Repeat layers.  

  • Bake 25 minutes until bubbly.


  • 1 lb. ground beef

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 1 clove of garlic, minced

  • 32 oz. pasta sauce of your choice

  • salt and pepper

  • 8 oz. each cheddar, mozzarella, and swiss, shredded

  • 16 oz. spaghetti, broken into pieces
