Bacon and Brussels Sprouts Pasta



Great way to eat Brussel Sprouts and you can pick the pasta

Bacon and Brussels Sprouts Pasta


  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.

  • While pasta cooks, cook the bacon until crisp.  Crumble once cooled.

  • To the same pan add the Brussels Sprouts, salt and pepper.  Cover on med-high and cook 5 minutes.

  • Lower heat to medium and add shallots and raisins cook 2 minutes.

  • Add wine and cook 2 minutes.

  • Add cooked bacon, pasta and pasta water and stir until combined.

  • Sprinkle with cheese and  serve immediately.


  • 6 strips bacon

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, ends trimmed and halved

  • 8 oz bow-tie pasta or your choice

  • 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper

  • 1/2 cup dry white wine

  • 1/2 cup raisins

  • 2 shallots, chopped

  • 1/2 cup shredded Asiago or Parmesan cheese
