Abby's Better Nut Butter Cups

This is a decadent way to get your protein. It took me a couple of times to get the right amount of chocolate for the top and bottom.

Abby's Better Nut Butter Cups

Directions

  • Melt chocolate with a splash of milk or cream.  I like using the stove top.

  • Stir in protein powder.

  • Spread 1 Tbls. of melted chocolate mixture on the bottom of silicone cupcake molds.  You just want enough to cover.  Keep chocolate warm.

  • Place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.

  • Remove and spread 2 Tbls. of nut butter onto top of each bottom.

  • Spread 1 Tbls. of melted chocolate on top of the nut butter.

  • Place in refrigerator for 20 minutes.

  • Store in refrigerator and bring to room temperature when ready to eat.

Ingredients

  • 10 oz melting chocolate (I used dark chocolate)

  • splash of milk or heavy cream

  • Abby's Better Nut Butter of your choice (I used strawberry)

  • 1 scoop of Orgain Plant Based Protein Powder (I used chocolate)

  • Silicone cupcake molds.  You can't use paper.
